whynow Studios production Rebel Country selected for Tribeca Film Festival

Our feature-length documentary Rebel Country has been selected to have its world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, and we couldn't be more excited!

We worked closely with the teams at Fremantle and BMG to create this stunning new film.

Rebel Country looks at a new squad of rising stars who are rewriting the rules and challenging the culture of the U.S. country music scene, amidst the ever-present tensions of race, poverty, gender, sexuality. Just some of the stars featured are Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and BRELAND.

Directed by Francis Whately (Five Years, Dolly Parton: Here I Am), hashtag#RebelCountry premieres 10 June at hashtag#Tribeca2024.
