whynow Production, From Roger Moore With Love, Nominated for Two BAFTA Scotland Awards

Our feature-length documentary, From Roger Moore With Love, has been nominated for two BAFTA Scotland Awards. The film is up for Best Single Documentary, and Best Director Factual for Jack Cocker. 

BAFTA Scotland sits at the heart of the country’s screen industries. Its goal is to shine a light on the continued breadth and success of its local industry on a global scale. The BAFTA Scotland Awards, honour excellence in broadcasting and production across film and television in Scotland. 

From Roger Moore With Love was first aired on BBC 2 on Christmas Day in 2024 as part of the Arena series. Made in collaboration with Moore’s estate and family, the film retraces Moore’s rise from a young knitwear model to his iconic breakthrough role as James Bond in the 1970’s. It also features never-before-seen personal archives, letters and home movies, exclusive interviews with his three children – Geoffrey, Deborah and Christian, as well as friends, colleagues and co-stars. 

The film is directed by Jack Cocker, executive produced by whynow’s head of content Janet Lee and Gabriel Jagger, and produced by Karen Steyn. It can still be found on the iPlayer here.
