The Club That George Built has been nominated for a Football Content Award in the Best Documentary category.

The Football Content Awards 2025 are the ultimate night celebrating the very best in online football media. The finalists for Best Documentary feature an exciting mix of stories that delve deep into football’s heart, exploring iconic moments, influential figures, and unique perspectives.

Our film, created in conjunction with Warner Bros. Discovery, is centred around the 23/24 season for Worthing FC, and owner George Dowell, who was paralysed from the waist down in a car crash.
