Simon Brew Takes His Film Stories Live Event On Tour

- the tour starts in London on 19th March at the Rich Mix cinema

- the show will go to Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and… Truro

Simon Brew, host of the multi-award-winning Film Stories podcast, is taking his much loved live show on a tour of the UK. The first event is taking place at the Rich Mix cinema in Shoreditch, London on Thursday 19th March, before heading off to venues in Manchester, Glasgow and Truro - among others.

Running in Birmingham since 2019, Film Stories Live is an in-person film conversation show that showcases upcoming filmmakers, dives into big mainstream movies, and finds the little tales in and around modern cinema. Praised for being a funny, entertaining and nerdy night out for movie fans, the show has also always sought to champion the smaller independent films, and their makers. That’s why this year’s live shows are taking place in indie cinemas around the country.

Simon Brew, host of the Film Stories Podcast said: “I’m passionate about taking the love of movies right around the country. Each show is a little bit different, hopefully very funny, and utterly grounded in a nerdy love of cinema. That, and of shining a light on the amazing filmmakers around the UK who don’t get enough attention on what they’re up to. Oh, and there’s the, er, ‘famous’ money can buy prizes too…!”
