Film Stories Podcast nominated for Publisher Podcast Award

The Film Stories Podcast has been shortlisted for a Publisher Podcast Award in the Best Entertainment category.

Now in their fifth year, the Publisher Podcast Awards were launched as a celebration of the best podcasts in the publishing and media industry. They were created by the team behind the Media Voices Podcast, an industry-leading weekly podcast bringing you all the news, views and interviews with key figures from around the media world.

Launched in 2018 by Simon Brew, the podcast proved so popular that he spun it into several brand extensions, including a website and the magazine. Since then the podcast has been downloaded over a million times.

At the heart of the Film Stories magazine ethos from day one has been shining a big light on, and giving centre stage to, films and filmmakers that otherwise don’t get the attention they deserve.

Film Stories has won this category for the last two years, but the team will have to wait until Weds 12th June to see if they retain the title.
